I've moved my blog over to WordPress. I hope you'll come along! If you want to follow along here's the link. I'm still working at setting the blog up exactly the way I want it so I hope you'll have patience while I work through all the blips.

Post Tropical Storm Arthur
It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.
C. S. Lewis
We found this robin's nest in our grapevine the day after post tropical storm Arthur came through in July. They remained in the nest for twelve days and then were gone.

The Three Churches of Mahone Bay
I like the silent church before the service begins, better than any
preaching. Ralph Waldo Emerson
In the stillness of the early morning, the view of the three churches is breathtaking |
I love the scenery
in Mahone Bay ,
a picturesque little town on Nova
Scotia ’s south shore. People come from all over to
see these three churches. I had plans to go to a service in each one of the
churches over the summer with a friend, but unfortunately life got in the way. I'm a little anxious to see the inside of these magnificent buildings. I guess I'll have to wait.

Lonely
You can't get too much winter in the winter.
~~Robert Frost
I'm not so sure I agree with Robert Frost. This beaver dam at Whetstone Lake looks pretty lonely in the winter.
