Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain. ~~Henry David Thoreau
Look who we found hopping around the truck. He/she seemed quite unconcerned and jumped onto B's hat big as you please.
A grasshopper, eh? Any ants around? Now that September's here maybe it's a reminder we're going to have to become more industrious? ;)
ReplyDeleteI can never get enough of studying the details found in nature. Isn't that grasshopper a work of art?
ReplyDelete@Carol, I've seen quite a few ants as well. They don't photograph well. Too tiny and they won's stand still. lol This time of the year always reminds me of the work ahead before winter.
ReplyDelete@Patti, I really like the photo for some reason. I agree that nature is art.
What a handsome green (and friendly) fellow he is!
ReplyDeleteThanks SuziCate. He was certainly in no hurry to get away from us.
