Apple Blossoms

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ~~Anais Nin

Blossoms from the apple tree outside my back door

  1. Oh, how beautiful!!! And I can see all sorts of applications for that quotation.

We don't have any trees that blossom. (Well, that's not entirely true. Hidden out among the evergreens there's one cherry tree that grew from a transplanted sucker, that doesn't produce anything.) I keep threatening to get one from the nursery, but the only place to plant it where it would get sun would be in the middle of the lawn, and DH is not enthused about having to work the lawn tractor around it every time he mows. So.... :(

  2. Pretty blossoms! One of my favorite quotes, too. :)
