Ode to the Mayflower

If you've never been thrilled to the very edges of your soul by a flower in spring bloom, maybe your soul has never been in bloom.  ~Terri Guillemets

While walking through a wooded area, clusters of Mayflowers revealed themselves today on a sunny knoll. Being the first wildflower to bloom in these parts many people consider them one of the first true signs of spring.

  1. Doesn't feel much like Spring here today!

    I like Mayflowers. They're pretty.

  2. I saw on Facebook that this is the coldest April we've had in 74 years...Oh, I'll be glad to see May come. Hopefully, the weather will be warmer.
